Service Description

This one day interactive MCQ session will be chaired by Mr Sanjeev Pathak. The MCQ’s covered will be very similar to the actual MRCS Part A examination. He is an active member of the FRCS (Urol) MCQ writing panel at the Royal College of Surgeons. He will identify the common pitfalls that candidates have experienced and will provide key examination tips. This will help candidates to maximise their chances of success. The MCQ's will cover Applied Basic Sciences (Anatomy, Pathology and Physiology) and Principles of Surgery in General (Management of trauma, clinical surgical specialities, and perioperative and critical care). This course will be engaging and interactive. This course is suitable for candidates who have completed prior revision and would like to consolidate knowledge and clarify key concepts. We would highly recommend this MCQ Mock day for those who completed the SMASHING Education MRCS Part A 3 day revision course. It will allow you to consolidate your learning and recall knowledge and nmemonics from the course. Please note, unlike the revision course which consisted of lectures and teaching, this mock day will cover large amounts of MCQ’s, therefore, prior study is strongly advised as this will maximise the benefits of this day. There will be no teaching on this day as will want to get through as many question as we can. Start time: 9am Close with tips and advice for exam: 2pm Via Zoom Live Online
