Mr Sanjeev Pathak is a Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield Medical School and Former Consultant Urological Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

His personal qualifications highlight his strong and thorough understanding of how to succeed undergraduate and postgraduate examinations.

       

  • His qualifications include FRCS (Urol); FRCS (Eng); FEBU; MD; MBChB; USMLE.  

  • He has written chapters in revision books e.g. “Basic Science for the FRCS (Urol) and Postgraduate Examinations”. He has written numerous peer-reviewed articles, presented his research findings at national and international meetings. He has been an invited speaker at many national and international meetings.

  • He was awarded a Doctorate at the University of Leicester; the research focused on investigating molecular biological markers for the chemoprevention of prostate cancer.

  • Currently, he is a reviewer for a number of peer-reviewed urology journals.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Mr Sanjeev Pathak is an experienced surgeon, having been a full-time, Consultant Urological Surgeon >12 years at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH).

STH is one of the largest urology units in the UK. Although, he undertakes all aspects of general urology, his subspecialty interests are renal and testicular cancer. In the tertiary referral centre, he provides complex renal surgery (including level IV thrombectomy) and advanced testicular cancer (RPLND surgery). He is experienced in all surgical techniques, open and keyhole surgery. He is the Clinical Lead for Urology and Lead for Testicular Cancer at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and South Yorkshire, respectively. Previously, Clinical lead for Urological Cancers.
